Entrail Trail

Sometimes you've just gotta stretch the boundaries of "foodie news" to encompass the wacky and wild - especially when it involves pig guts:

A load of pig entrails sloshed out of a truck hauling the guts to a dog food plant, leaving the slop across a busy Little Rock intersection.

The Monday accident occurred when a tractor-trailer driven by Billy Day, 55, made a quick stop and about 1,000 pounds of the innards gushed past a tarp that covered the trailer...

...The 11:20 a.m. accident tied up the intersection of University Avenue and Col. Glenn Road in the south-central part of the city.

It's stories like this that make me happy to own a MetroCard.
