Peace By Pomegranate

According to an article in the Orlando Sentinel, The Captain and Tennille were wrong.

Love won't keep us together. The pomegranate will. Apparently, disparate religions from around the globe can find common ground in their use of the pomegranate as a symbol of fertility and prosperity.

Now I'm curious if the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster can get into the action too...They could use a little sweet something after all that heavy pasta and meatballs.
