Capitol Cuisine

The title is actually a bit of a stretch. I actually spent the weekend in suburban Maryland with my family, outside the nation's capitol. Didn't dine with senators or congressmen, but I did get to play with an outrageously adorable 2-year old boy who is partial to coloring, watching "Blue's Clues" and playing with many, many (did I say many?) little cars, trucks and airplanes - my nephew.

Culinary highlight for me - a knockout Porterhouse steak at the Tyson's Corner branch of Fleming's Steakhouse. Culinary highlight for my nephew - a hefty stack of pancakes at the Original Pancake House. He's a good eater.
