Freshman Issues with FreshDirect Pt. 2
Understand that "Peter In The Heights" sent the Chowhound string about my problems with FreshDirect to the company's president, Jason Ackerman. On top of the note I had sent directly to their customer service e-mail, cc-ing Ackerman, its clear that the double-whammy lit a fire over there. Just got off the phone with Ackerman. Nice guy. He agreed that the customer service rep on the phone with me wasn't apologetic, which was unacceptable from his point of view too. Apparently, words were spoken with the rep. Also, he said he was sorry that the situation might have ruined my holiday. As a new business, he's interested in getting customer feedback and asked that I continue to be in touch, should I decide to use the service again. I just might...
